Well, it seems some Bermudians are dismayed over the sea glass collecting practices of some tourists on their island as reported in The Royal Gazette. One local complained about seeing a couple of tourists walking away with 5 gallon buckets full of the glassy treasure.
I guess I can understand this person's frustration. If it were one of my collecting spots I wouldn't want it cleaned out of all the sea glass with such selfish desire.
As collectors we should all consider how much we actually need to take with us. It would be considerate to save some for the next visitor. Remember, you are the next visitor no matter where you go.
A little courtesy doesn't hurt.
