Prepare for Sea Glass Collecting During the Spring Tides

Spring tide (or minus tides) ranges will be extremely high during the week of November 13th. These days will offer some of the best opportunities for sea glass collecting. Check your local tide charts for low tide times.

I have just returned fron Nome Alaska on the Bering Sea where I got my first taste of Sea Glass.Oh my I'm hooked. This past summer I found a cobolt blue,a ruby red,and a stopper.I was so excited. The sea offers many colors of which brown seemed the most common.I found two other oieces of interest.Apale green that said Perth on it and the other was dark brown and said chlorox. I called them and was told the last glass bottle was made in the late 50's or early 60's.Boy what a find.

Yes, it's amazing where you can find sea glass. It just adds to the experience of exploring the world.
Sounds like you've really found some nice pieces!
Keep it up... by looking down... but don't forget to look around!
